DR. JUSTIN HARKEY DVM

Dr. Justin Harkey became the owner of the Calhoun County Animal Hospital in July of 2016. Raised in Port Lavaca, he is a 1994 graduate of Calhoun High School. Dr. Harkey has 12 years of small and large animal experience from the Animal Medical Clinic in Kingsville, Texas. He and his wife, Robin, who also grew up in Calhoun County, have two children: Morgan and Levi. In his leisure time, Dr. Harkey enjoys hunting, fishing, cooking, and gardening.

Education

Dr. Harkey received his BS in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 1998. He then pursued a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 2004.
